BIO
KEZRA is a self-taught producer. He learned about music theory on the side, while completing his university degree, and applied his newfound knowledge in the production of remixes for popular artists such as Ariana Grande, will.i.am, and Jay Sean. Recently, he started producing original tracks, the logical next step in his sonic journey. The unrestrained creative freedom afforded by originality showcased his talents. His first original track, “Curious” laid that very foundation.
KEZRA is a music lover at heart with an eclectic and open music taste. This enables him to approach tracks with fresh ideas. His strong suits lie in his high degree of confidence being sonically diverse by dabbling in multiple genres, yet still respecting a specific genre’s context and origins. This bold take on production involves a strong element of surprise and innovation. Every track presents an opportunity to push creative limits and challenge conventions, while empowering him to broaden his sonic horizons through the exploration of different styles, as he contends with infusing each track with his own unique artistic flair.
KEZRA, aside from the studio, is fluent in both English and French, enjoys learning new languages, working on cars, and playing video games. He supports a number of environmental and philanthropic initiatives, causes, and charities.
